We contracted with Spencer Wolfe in January for a full remodel of our house and have been consistently delighted with the interaction and the quality of the work. Over the months we expanded the project several times and Spencer was always meticulous in providing reasonable and prompt budget updates and reports. Furthermore since we had moved out of our house into a nearby rental we were constrained in terms of the time we could stay away and Spencer went to extra lengths to ensure the project finished within budget and on time. The interactions with subcontractors were well managed and the communication was excellent. He is very well organized and gave us weekly in-person status updates. Also the work site was cleaned up every day. Now that we are back in the house I have to say we are extremely pleased with the work and give him the highest recommendation.

We had contacted Spencer Wolfe, the owner of Wolfe, Inc., for an initial consultation and estimate for repairing water damage to our house. Spencer was prompt in arranging a series of meetings during which he inspected and provided a detailed assessment of the damage, the root cause of the damage (which two other contractors had failed to notice) and the necessary repairs. Since a backdoor and windows were also impacted, Spencer offered to help us select new doors and windows and walked us through the whole process. As often happens in these situations, the scope of work expanded much beyond the initial estimate, because of which, we approved multiple modifications including earthquake reinforcement for the back wall, electrical work and some additional rain proofing on the deck. Throughout this process, however, Spencer, or his close associate Anthony, were always available to answer our many questions, sometimes repeatedly – as we debated the desirability of these additional projects and their cost, without ever feeling pressurized to agree to new work. We were also very impressed with the quality of the work which was always carried out with precision and care. Multiple workmen – including carpenters, electricians, painters, roofers etc. – came through and they were all uniformly polite, diligent and professional. All of them ensured that they worked as neatly as possible without affecting the rest of the house. They were all open to our suggestions and made sure that we were satisfied with the end results even if it meant undoing/redoing parts of the work. Overall, we were very happy with the process, the timeliness and the results and would unhesitatingly recommend Wolfe Inc. for any home repair/construction needs.
