Project Summary

We have been working with Carol for over thirteen years now, mostly on small projects around her house and on her landscape.  In 2014, she hired us to remodel her kitchen and bathroom, both of which were out-of-date and not working well for her in terms of layout, storage or functionality.

For her bathroom, we stayed in the same footprint, taking everything down to the wooden structure and installing new finishes throughout.  We installed a new tile shower with a frameless glass shower enclosure, custom vanity with drawers and an above counter sink.  Jason designed and installed the hidden drawer beneath the shower bench, as well as the unique undersink cabinet.

We also took the kitchen and pantry down to the wooden structure and more than quadrupled the storage space in cabinetry and countertops.  We installed Ceasarstone countertops, an appliance garage and a custom fold-up/down butcher block table.  After pulling up multiple layers of linoleum, we found the original Douglas fir floor, which we fully refurbished, leaving some history for more character.

During the construction, Carol decided she wanted to refinish all the floors and woodwork in her entire house, so she moved out for a couple of months and we refurbished the hardwood floors and all the base moulding, casing, trim and craftsman woodwork throughout the entire house.
